On-Line Course SpecificsThe E&O Risk Management On-line courses are courses that were developed by Westport and IIABA to be accessible through the Big "I" Virtual University. These on-line courses provide you an option for loss control credit. However, it should be understood that this is not a quicker or easier format for which to meet your loss control credit requirements. These on-line courses are strictly self-paced reading courses and will take you approximately 8 hours to complete. In addition, because these are considered self-study courses, you must successfully complete (70% or better) a 50-question exam at the conclusion of the course. Although the content of these courses is sound and informative, IA&B has found that the courses are difficult to navigate through. However, because of the changes to the loss control credit requirements for September 1, 2009, we felt that it was important to provide our members and policyholders with as many options as possible to assist you through the transition.
