EXAMINATIONS

  • Each CIC Institute ends with an optional, two-hour short answer/essay examination.
  • Most exams are between 17-21 questions.
  • There are a total of 200 points on each exam and a 70% (140 points) is needed to pass the examinations.
  • Exam questions are asked in the same order in which the subjects are discussed during the institute.
  • The point values of questions are weighted, based on the amount of time devoted to each topic.
  • The Educational Consultant writes the examination and answer key during the institute;  therefore, the exam will reflect the topics that were included in the instructors' notebook material and discussed in class.
  • Generally, exam results are distributed within 4-6 weeks of the exam date. Exam results are sent to the address provided on the exam envelope prior to taking the exam by the participant.

EXAM RESULTS

You will receive your exam results via email notification direct from the National Alliance in 6-8 weeks following the institute.  You can access your exam results as well as your course history by visiting your CIC MyPage account.
