What is the CPIA Designation Program?The CPIA Insurance Success Seminars will help you plan and improve your sales techniques to convert your prospects into a clients. Learn to generate qualified sales leads that will translate into more sales, and more commissions.These interactive seminars you will help you to achieve your sales goals. Learn to use your marketing and sales tools to qualify prospects, spending your energy on leads that count. Fine tune your communication and sales techniques and keep that hard-earned business. Unlike general sales programs, the Insurance Success Seminars are designed specifically for insurance agents. You will get what you need to generate insurance sales, keep what you sell and watch your commissions grow. IA&B will conduct Insurance Success seminars in agency or company offices. Click here to learn more. Who should attend the CPIA programs?Insurance Success Seminars are open to any employee of an agency, insurance company or insurance-related business. Anyone who wants to enhance or learn sales techniques and marketing communication is encouraged to attend. Attendance of all three seminars will give participants the “big picture” of what it takes to attract and maintain prospects and customers. Earning the DesignationFull attendance at all three seminars allows participants to earn the CPIA (Certified Professional Insurance Agent) designation; no exam is required. Anyone may attend any one seminar of interest. Maintaining the DesignationThe CPIA designation requires a biennial update (once every two years). This updated requirement can be satisfied through participation in any one of the three core Insurance Success Seminars, participation in any one of the Advanced Insurance Success Seminars, by attending the AIMS Society's annual PRO-to-Pro Executive Retreat or by maintaining individuals or agency membership in the AIMS Society. Must I take an examination?No. Earning the CPIA designation does not include an exam. Where can I attend the CPIA programs?Courses are offered several times in convenient locations throughout Pennsylvania. Because the three CPIA segments build on each other we have scheduled them in order in the same week for your convenience. However, you do not need to attend all of the programs in the same week. Are the CPIA Seminars recognized and approved for Continuing Education Credit in my State?The CPIA program meets or exceeds requirements in all states having a mandatory continuing education law.
