IA&B Workers' Comp Seminars 2010

Workers' Compensation - Who, What, Where, When & Why

Developed and instructed by Jerry M. Milton, CIC

Reduce your agency's vulnerability to competition and reduce your E&O exposure by attending this course designed, written and instructed by industry expert, Jerry Milton, CIC.

  • Your competitors are aggressively targeting the Workers' Compensation market and are using producer errors to take your accounts.  Why?  Because experience-rating worksheets often contain significant errors that are going unnoticed by your producers.  Learn to pinpoint and correct these errors to keep and write more accounts.

  • Reduce your E&O exposure by reviewing the most common claims involving independent contractors, statutory employer issues and extra-territorial conditions and learn how to handle these issues correctly.

  • These newly developed programs are state-specific and will incorporate state-specific guidance on laws governing workers' compensation.  It is recommended that you attend the program in the state where you write workers' comp coverage.

In this session you will learn:

  • Classification and rating
  • Experience rating plan
  • Federal compensation and liability laws
