CISR William T. Hold Seminars

William T. Hold Seminars are one-day, advanced training programs designed exclusively for experienced customer service representatives who have earned the CISR designation. Interactive sessions address current topics based on designee feedback and reinforce the information with a comprehensive notebook.

NEW for 2008--You must be a dues-paid member of the Society of CISR, CRM or CIC to be eligible to attend.

Use this advanced program for experienced CISRs to satisfy your CISR annual update requirement. Program topics vary year-to-year, based upon designee feedback and typically focus on current insurance trends in-depth that were either briefly presented or not at all in the five core CISR courses. This year’s topic is—The Other 10%: Going Beyond the Routine.

The Other 10%: Going Beyond the Routine

Ninety percent of insurance written is pretty standard. The risk being addressed will most likely fit the mold of a Businessowners Policy, Homeowners or a standard Commercial Package Policy. It is the other ten percent that present challenges for agents.

This William T. Hold seminar explores the other 10 percent of risks that don't fit the mold of a Businessowners, Homeowners, or Commercial Policy that often leave agents unprepared. You will spend the day looking closely at the limitations, gaps and exclusions found in standard insurance contracts along with suggested products and endorsements as alternative solutions.

You will come from this seminar with a comprehensive workbook full of program information and up-to-date knowledge on topics such as:

  • Plugging standard gaps
  • Shortcomings in the Homeowners, Businessowners and Commercial Property/CGL policies
  • When the "employee" uses a car for business
  • Condominium owner issue
  • Major policy exclusions

Who should attend?

This program is a great benefit to anyone who must satisfy the annual update requirement of the Society of CISR! Those attending must have earned the CISR, ACSR, CPSR, CIC, or CRM designation.
