Legal & Ethical Responsibilities of Insurance Personnel

Protecting Companies, Agencies and Consumers from Unethical Practices and Fraud

Support your client retention by ensuring you build and keep the trust of your clients by attending this 3-hour program that goes back to the basis of the insurance industry.

When a consumer deals with an insurance professional, they are entrusting their financial future and well being to that individual.  If that trust is violated, the consequences may not be known for years.  The results can be catastrophic for an individual, but in reality, it is catastrophic for everyone.  Trust is the basis of the insurance industry and when trust is violated, the industry suffers as do the consumers who rely on the peace of mind offered by that industry.

This three-hour session will focus on personal and business ethics as well as the recognition of unethical and fraudulent practices.  Common ethical violations as well as recent fraud statistics will be reviewed to assist insurance personnel in recognizing activities that may be both moral and criminal offenses.  Information on fraud legislation and reporting practices will also be included.
