MD Political Action Center

IA&B has a constant presence in Annapolis, monitoring legislation that affects independent agents, while at the same time advancing laws that benefit our members.

In Maryland, our government affairs staff is working on addressing certificates of insurance, prohibiting commission disclosure, preserving a favorable tax climate for agent businesses, and maintaining the pivotal role of agents as health insurance is implemented at the state level.

AgentPAC of Maryland-Your Voice in Annapolis

AgentPAC is the most proactive and effective tool you have to get involved in the political process. A contribution to AgentPAC is the way you can personally make a difference.  In 2011, we again fell short of our fundraising goal. We need engaged agents to help turn this trend around this year. And it won't take much if everyone chips in. If every licensed agent who is a member of IA&B gave just $10 for the year, we would raise over $23,000 in Maryland, almost double our goal of $12,500. Please consider making a contribution to AgentPAC of Maryland today.
