April 5, 2010 – Registration is now open for area junior golfers to participate in the Delaware qualifying tournament for the 42nd annual Trusted Choice® Big “I” National Championship. All youth golfers whose 19th birthday falls after July 30, 2010 are eligible.

Statewide trade association Delaware Association of Insurance Agents & Brokers will host the qualifier at Garrisons Lake Golf Club in Smyrna, Del. on Wednesday, June 16. The top finisher will advance to the national tournament at the Olde York Country Club in Chesterfield, N.J. on July 27-30.

The Trusted Choice® Big “I” National Championship draws 4,000 participants annually. Past competitors include Charlie Howell, Cristie Kerr, Phil Mickelson, Grace Park and Tiger Woods.
