SMYRNA, Del. (June 17, 2010) – Eight area youth golfers on June 16 competed at Garrisons Lake Golf Club in the state qualifying tournament for the 42nd Trusted Choice Big “I” National Championship. Aaron Burton, of Wilmington, advanced to the national tournament in Chesterfield, N.J., on July 27-30.

Statewide trade association Delaware Association of Insurance Agents & Brokers hosted the state qualifier.

The Trusted Choice Big "I" National Championship draws 4,000 participants each year. Past competitors include Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Charlie Howell, Grace Park and Cristie Kerr.
