Junior golf: Pennsylvania 2010 state tournament results

FAYETTEVILLE, Pa. (July 9, 2010) – Twenty-six youth golfers on July 8 competed at the Penn National Golf Club in the state qualifying tournament for the 42nd Trusted Choice Big “I” National Championship. Five advanced: Ryan Prokay, of Grove City; Darren Simons, of St. Marys; Robert Duran, of Fairview; Evan Ruhling, of Pittsburgh; and Karlie Zabrosky, of Erie.
Trade association Insurance Agents & Brokers of Pennsylvania hosted the state qualifier.
The national tournament will be held in Chesterfield, N.J., on July 27-30. The Trusted Choice Big "I" National Championship draws 4,000 participants each year. Past competitors include Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Charlie Howell, Grace Park and Cristie Kerr.
