Aug. 19, 2010 – Insurance Agents & Brokers will host its second annual Executive Management Conference Oct. 26-27 at the Lancaster Eden Resort in Lancaster, Pa. The technology-themed event will bring together industry experts and independent insurance agency management from across Delaware, Maryland and Pennsylvania.
"Technology is reinventing how independent agencies operate," said Dave Rosenkilde, incoming chairman of Insurance Agents & Brokers Service Group, which oversees the partnership of agents' associations in the three states. "This conference will address agencies’ efficiency and compliance."
Conference seminars will cover agency management systems, client data security, electronic document management, social networking, and general technology tips and tools. Attendees also will have an opportunity to network with carrier and vendor exhibitors.
"We've heard time and time again from our members that they struggle with technology," said Rosenkilde. "This conference was created specifically to educate management-level staff on the opportunities and risks that these advances create."
