April 1, 2011 – Congressional leaders yesterday heard independent agents' perspectives on health care reform, federal insurance regulation and flood insurance reform. Insurance Agents & Brokers of Maryland members met with four representatives and both senators in their Congressional delegation at the National Association of Professional Insurance Agents' Federal Legislative Summit.
"It was a great opportunity for our members to represent their local communities and have their voice heard on national issues," said Dave Rosenkilde, chairman of the Insurance Agents & Brokers Service Group.
The annual event brought together hundreds of agents from across the country who advocated on insurance issues.
