LANCASTER, Pa. (Oct. 5, 2011) – Mid-Atlantic agency owners and principals now are better positioned to manage their sales force. Insurance Agents & Brokers' Oct. 4-5 executive management conference provided producer management training to over 125 attendees.

"Members shared their frustration with finding, training and retaining good producers without breaking the bank, and this conference answered their call," said Bob Hall, chairman of the IA&B Service Group. "Participants walked away with realistic strategies for building an effective team."

Nationally recognized agency consultants Al Diamond and Lorie Guthrie Phair led workshops ranging from understanding the asset protection model of relationship selling, to connecting management with motivation and rewards.

In conjunction with the conference, IA&B held its annual meeting, where membership welcomed the following new directors.

Delaware Association of Insurance Agents & Brokers Inc.

Lawrence A. Wilson, CIC, CPIA, CPCU, ARM
S.T. Good Insurance, New Castle, Del.
