Competition for insurance CSR of the Year Award announced
Cash awards total $5,000
MECHANICSBURG, Pa. – The search is on for the nation’s best insurance customer service representative. Delaware, Maryland and Pennsylvania nominations for the 2008 Outstanding CSR of the Year Award are now being accepted by Insurance Agents & Brokers.
“This award is a great opportunity to honor our frontline employees for the significant roles they play within our industry,” said G. Kevin Nemith, chairman of the IA&B Service Group.
The award is open to anyone, regardless of affiliation or designation. The only requirement is that the candidate be an insurance CSR or have primary duties in the customer service arena. Once nominated, a candidate fills out a form, submits letter(s) of recommendation and writes a two-page essay.
Candidates will be evaluated on their service, leadership capabilities and contributions to their agencies and communities. The national winner will receive $2,000, which is double from last year, and four national finalists will receive $500 each. New this year, the person who nominates the winner will receive $1,000.
The award, now in its eighteenth year, is bestowed upon a CSR by the National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research.
To nominate someone for the award, visit www.iabgroup.com and click on the link at the bottom of the page. Upon receipt of a nomination, IA&B will mail the candidate the necessary materials to complete the entry process. The deadline for submission of the candidate form and essay is May 1, 2008.
