MECHANICSBURG, Pa. – The Delaware Association of Insurance Agents & Brokers Inc. recently donated $1,000 to Delaware Guidance Services for Children & Youth, Inc.
“As insurance agents, we are deeply involved with and committed to our communities,” said John Yasik, chairman of DAIAB. “Giving back to local children who need but can’t afford insurance seems fitting.”
Delaware Guidance Services provides mental health services for children and their families regardless of their ability to pay. The statewide organization serves over 7,500 clients annually.
“The DAIAB is to be commended for their generosity in supporting mental health services for Delaware’s children,” said Bruce Kelsey, executive director of DGS. “Our community is only as healthy and strong as each of us makes it. When we give back through charitable contributions or volunteering our time, it benefits us all.”
Representatives from DAIAB presented the donation on Dec. 14.
