Junior Classic: Central Pennsylvania regional tournament results

HARRISBURG, Pa. – Derek Baker, of Waynesboro, Pa.; John Carey, of Shippensburg, Pa.; and Alli Weaver, of Lititz, Pa., won yesterday’s regional qualifying tournament for the 40th annual Trusted Choice® Big “I” Junior Classic at Dauphin Highlands Golf Course in Harrisburg, Pa. Along with nine other junior golfers, they will advance to the state tournament at the Penn National Golf Club in Fayetteville, Pa., on July 22.
Statewide trade association Insurance Agents & Brokers hosted the annual 18-hole, qualifier. Thirty-eight boy and five girl youth golfers participated.

Winners from the state qualifier will advance to the national tournament at the Country Club of North Carolina in Pinehurst, N.C., on August 3-7.
The Trusted Choice® Big “I” Junior Classic draws 4,000 participants each year. Past competitors include Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Charles Howell, Grace Park and Cristie Kerr.
